This Mid-Century Modern hutch and credenza set was made by Mount Airy as part of their highly respected Facade collection. The walnut grain on the doors creates a warm, architectural look, framed beautifully by the sculpted front edges and tapered legs characteristic of classic MCM style.
Completely refreshed and ready for modern living: the top has been refinished, the brass hardware polished, drawers lubricated for smooth action, and the entire piece has been thoughtfully touched up and finished with new coats of lacquer for a clean and even sheen.
The credenza offers smart storage with three center drawers including a fitted silverware divider in the top drawer, and fixed shelving behind the doors on each side at 9.75 inches in height. The matching upper cabinet provides generous vertical storage with three fixed interior shelves behind tall paneled doors. Constructed from solid wood with walnut veneer, this is a rare and complete two-piece set that has remained together for decades. However, if you plan to use it only as a credenza, I am happy to hang on to the top and sell the base solo.
