This is an iconic Drexel Profile buffet credenza, designed in the 1950s by John Van Koert. A timeless piece of Mid Century Modern furniture, it has been completely refinished and is ready for another 50+ years of life.
Crafted in walnut with clean sculpted lines and tapered legs, this piece is both stylish and functional. It features four smooth sliding drawers and two cabinet doors, each opening to reveal a fixed shelf, perfect for storing linens, serve ware, or media equipment.
The buffet has had several veneer touch ups, and two areas on the top show subtle imperfections (see photos), though they blend well into the grain and do not detract from its overall beauty. The finish shows very well, warm and rich in tone. We have also installed new protective slides on the feet to safeguard your floors.
This piece would serve beautifully as a dining room buffet, living room credenza, or media console. A versatile and classic statement piece of American modern design.
